Add a company logo while taking photos

A small logo can help a customer recognize a work photo without covering the work itself. The useful setup is a reusable mark with room for the subject, date and a short job note—not a full-size advertisement on every image.

Prepare a logo that works at small size

Start with a clean image rather than a screenshot of a business card. A simple symbol or short wordmark is easier to read when reduced. A transparent-background PNG can avoid a solid rectangular block, provided the selected style and export handle it correctly.

Leave the photograph room to explain the job

Keep the logo away from damage, equipment labels and measurements. Use a short project note if the recipient needs identification; avoid making the logo and every optional field compete for space.

Try both a bright and a dark scene. A logo that looks good in a white preview can disappear against a bright wall, and a dark mark can blend into a shadow.

If the logo does not appear

  • Check that a logo image is still selected.
  • Check that the logo field is enabled.
  • Use a style with visible space for a logo.
  • Inspect scale and contrast; an apparently missing logo can simply be too small or blend into the background.
  • Take a new test photo and inspect the saved output.

Create a separate version for public posts

Before posting a job photo publicly, review customer details, addresses, notes and visible location information. Branding a photo does not make those details safe to publish. Keep an original record and make a separate public copy when necessary.

Questions

Why is my selected logo missing?
The image choice, visibility toggle and style layout all matter. Check each, then check scale and contrast in the saved photo.
Do I need a transparent logo?
Not always. A transparent image can avoid a solid background rectangle, but a readable mark with sufficient contrast is more important.
Does a logo stop people copying the photo?
No. A visible mark can identify your business, but it can be edited or removed and is not technical copy protection.
